Nanyang Girls’ High School (NGHS), founded in 1917, is a dynamic, selective and independent high school with a long history and a tradition of bilingual education initiated by Mr Sun Yat-Sen. In order to face the century of globalization, Nanyang Girls’ High School has provided the opportunity of comprehensive education and development for the outstanding academic women in Singapore.

In 2013, Nanyang Girls’ High School was awarded the Singapore Quality Award (SQA), which was sponsored by Singapore Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew and launched in 1994. The Singapore Quality Award is awarded only to institutions of excellence that reach world-class educational standards.
